Virtual training with the new Welducation Simulator is ideal for simulating complex processes and tricky situations in a risk-free and cost-effective way, and to repeat them time and again without wasting resources.
More realistic than ever before
The latest welding simulator uses augmented reality (AR) for the first time. This technique is characterized by the insertion of digital elements into the real world—be it on a screen or on a pair of glasses—directly in front of the viewer’s eyes. Employing AR technology and using original welding torches, hosepacks, and the housing of a real Fronius welding system guarantee a genuine welding experience.
A wealth of options
The training options cover three processes (manual arc welding, MIG/MAG, and TIG), various materials (steel, stainless steel, and aluminum), and material of varying thickness, as well as different welding positions. In addition, there are three difficulty levels (easy, medium, and difficult) to choose from. Standard practice workpieces and adjustable welding parameters complete the realistic scenario, as a number of tasks have to be completed before, during, and after joining—just as in a real-life welding scenario.
Theory package included
With its integrated Welducation Campus platform, the simulator provides a complete teaching concept comprising theory and practical training units, which can be supplemented by the instructors as desired. The training tool provides a clear overview of results and learning progress. Trainee welders can also use courses to acquire knowledge and skills in their own time, as the ranking of their own welding performance encourages them to realize their full potential.
