Overview

Dates and duration

Fronius offers scheduled company tours on regular fixed dates (Sattledt only) and by individual arrangement.Company tours on fixed dates:

Every first Monday of the month at 10.00 and 14.00.

Individual company tours may be arranged for

Monday to Thursday between 08.00 and 15.00 as well as
Friday between 08.00 and 11.00.
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours

Special programs can also be arranged for students, depending on the level of study.

Group size and participants

Groups up to 25 people.
Max. 2 group tours at the same time

Costs and registration

The scheduled company tours on the fixed dates at the Sattledt site are free of charge, as is the program for school pupils and students. Prior registration is required in both cases.

Individual company tours are charged at 150 euros per group (even for fewer than 25 participants) including snacks and drinks. Prior registration is also required.

Sattledt – Logistics & Production

Do you want to see how Fronius manufactures the majority of its product range? Then Sattledt is the right destination for you! Products for all Fronius business units are manufactured here, which is also the largest site in terms of area. A sustainable production line of high-quality products requires constant refinement and ongoing development. We employ the latest technology to make processes more efficient and more sustainable.

Fronius offers scheduled company tours on regular fixed dates (Sattledt only) and by individual arrangement. Scheduled tours in Sattledt take place every first Monday of the month at 10.00 and 14.00. Prior registration is also required for scheduled tours.

Wels – Sales & Marketing

In Wels, you will gain an insight into the commercial side of Fronius. Every business unit is represented here as the home of our sales, marketing, and technical support operations. The tour of the energy-efficient, modernized building complex also includes a look at the welding laboratories of the technical support team and a brief journey through the Roman history of Wels.

Thalheim – Research & Development

Thalheim is the home of R&D at Fronius. The building itself is a temple to energy efficiency and offers the ideal environment for turning innovative ideas into reality. If you want to know the potential development opportunities provided by additive manufacturing, or what hardness tests our product developments have to pass, then you are in the right place.

Only a limited part of this site is open for company tours. A separate approval process for visitors is required.

Pettenbach – Headquarter & Welding torch production

Ever since we were founded in 1945, our traditional family-owned enterprise has always been headquartered in Pettenbach. At this modern facility, metalworking specialists continue to build welding torches and components for robot connections. Accounting and other administrative areas are also based here.

Only a limited part of this site is open for company tours. If you are looking for a complete overview of our production setup, we recommend a tour of the Sattledt site.

Plan your journey

Important information

In order that all company tours run on time, we kindly ask you to arrive punctually at the site at the agreed time. The meeting point is the reception at the entrance area of the respective site. If you are delayed for more than 10 minutes, you will not be able to participate in the tour. Late guests cannot be guaranteed an alternative time on the day of the tour. Please bring a printed copy of the confirmation email to the tour, which you will receive after your registration.

The company tours can cover a distance up to 2 km. Parts of the tour may be outside at some sites and also include stairs. Wheelchair users should only participate with a companion. Sturdy footwear is essential. For safety reasons, we ask you to follow the instructions of our guides and not to leave your group. You must not leave the marked paths within the production and assembly areas. Please also observe our safety instructions.
